What is SSH Client?

SSH Client is a program used to establish a secure network connection, operating at the upper layer of the TCP/IP layer model. SSH tools (such as OpenSSH,...) provide users with a way to establish an encrypted network connection to create a private connection channel. SSH is commonly used for remote access to systems and secure file transfers. SSH provides a secure way to log in and execute commands on remote machines as well as transfer files between machines.
